  Phases | Inertsil C8-4

Key Benefits and Features of Inertsil C8-4

   Perfect End-capping technique
Intensive elimination of trace metals has been acheevedon the silica gel surface
Extreme durability to acidic mobile phase conditions
High stability to 100% aqueous mobile phase conditions

The Most Deactivated C8 Column Ever Made
GL Sciences’ newly-developed chemical bonding technology allows Inertsil C8-4 to provide high efficiency and good peak shape where competitive columns fail. For example, in the example at right, Inertsil C8-4 is compared with competitive Octyl phases for the analysis of dextromethorphan, a basic compound. Where other columns show poor peak shape, often with secondary interactions that result in prolonged retention, Inertsil C8-4 delivers symmetric peaks with high efficiency.
