Immobilized Trypsin (TPCK) does not digest itself as occurs in solution
Monolith disk contained in Pipette Tips provide better flow properties than packed-bed pipette tips

A completely new base material for low pressure, pipette-tip tryptic digestion of proteins has been developed by GL Sciences. This unique material consists of Trypsin (TPCK) immobilized on the surface of a porous silica monolithic disc, which is embedded in a pipette tip. Tips are available in 10-200uL sizes in packages of 8 or 96.
